About the doctor:

Doctor Azamat Islambekov is a general practitioner with academic and clinical experience, a graduate of the Tashkent Medical Academy (specialty - general medicine). Even during his student years, he distinguished himself as an initiative-driven specialist with deep knowledge and an active practical position, and today he continues to develop his professional skills in the international medical community. Doctor Islambekov graduated with honors from the P.F. Borovsky Medical College, where he received foundational training in the specialty of "Medical Assistant in General Practice." During his studies at the academy, he repeatedly became a winner of national academic olympiads in the physiology of the cardiovascular system, pathology, and clinical pharmacology, and he also took 2nd place at the international CAU olympiad (Korea), based on USMLE standards.

Work experience:

After graduating from university, Dr. Islambekov continued his medical activities, combining clinical practice with teaching. He founded and heads the international educational center "Medacademyuz," where he trains students in medical specialties and prepares them for international exams (MCAT, DTM, USMLE). Under his leadership, the center has become one of the first platforms in Uzbekistan promoting evidence-based medicine and modern principles of clinical ethics. In addition to his teaching activities, Azamat actively worked at the Tashkent Medical Academy hospital, where he gained experience in emergency care and neurology departments. During his practice, he assessed patients' conditions, performed ECGs, placed intravenous catheters, and participated in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases. This experience shaped his clinical thinking and confidence in working with patients of various age groups.


Professional Interests:

Dr. Islambekov specializes in internal medicine, neurology, and family practice. He adheres to the principles of evidence-based medicine and strives to implement international standards for diagnosing and preventing diseases in the post-Soviet space. He shows particular interest in issues related to the prevention of chronic diseases, building long-term relationships with patients, and developing accessible forms of medical education for young doctors. Responsible, communicative, and empathetic, Dr. Islambekov combines professional rigor with human attention to the patient. In his free time, he enjoys sports—judo, swimming, volleyball, and cycling—which helps maintain the concentration and physical endurance necessary for medical practice.
